Zechariah 9:11-12:
“Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon. Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay double blessings for each of your trouble”
Romans 4:17-19:
“That is what the scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. 18. Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping – believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “that’s how many descendants you will have.”

Have you being captured by hope?
Sometimes when I hear some people’s prayer point I laugh. Why? Because they’re trying to get victory that they’ve already gotten.
Truth is, you’ve been glorified. Positionally, you’re victorious. How you pray determines whether or not you truly believe if you’re victorious or seated with Christ in Heavenly places.
Sometimes we pray because we believe we’re surviving.
There’re sometimes you make declaration. Other time you worship God because we need your connection with him. But you see, you are not devil focused because all authority has been given to you.
The power you give to the enemy is the lies he sells to you that you believe. When you believe the lies, you empower the liar in your life to become your God and master.
If you ask me, I believe the devil is overworked. Just imagine with over seven billion people on earth with just a single devil. He’s overworked!
Understand that you can choose the context which to live…and hope can be that context.
What context do you live from? Are you a prisoner of hope? Have you been captured by hope?
You can live base on the circumstances of your country but God is calling us to live from the context of hope. We can live in bondage of our circumstances or as prisoners of hope.
Many of us are in bondage to circumstances.
Jesus is the perfect theology. What did he do when he didn’t have money to pay his tax? What did you do when he didn’t have enough food to feed the people?
Just imagine Jesus crying to people and complaining to them about the condition of his ministry.
Jesus even went on to say, “greater things shall you do.”
If you don’t change covenant and start living in the new covenant God gave you, you’ll keep living in the old and some persons lived in superior reality more than some people in the new covenant.
How can David be getting a higher reality than you when you have a superior covenant?
So, you must understand that “hope is holding our perspective internal.”
We will have more hope if we’re convinced of eternity and hopeless if you aren’t convinced of it.
Your perspective must not be earthly, external but internal.
In other words, you have to look at the way God look at things. You have to look at what God is doing. Because to live without hope is to deny eternity with God. What you’re saying is that, “God doesn’t exist.”
More than ever we need prophets of hope across all nations of the world.
Today what do we have? Voices of hopelessness.
Our hope is based on His resurrection. If the spirit that raised Jesus from the death dwells within us the he can revive our mortal bodies. So anywhere we go as children of God we’re supposed to revive dead things and not to speak death.
If death couldn’t hold him captive, then what can hold me captive? Because in his death I died and in his resurrection, I too resurrected. Everything Jesus went through on the cross I too went through it.

The enemy has succeeded in raising voices that represent hopelessness. When you partner with the voice of hopelessness you create a hopeless situation. Likewise, when you partner with the voice of hope, you begin to create life.
That is why you’re an atmosphere shifter. The things which are seen were created from the unseen. So we are supposed to be living from the unseen reality. To God there’s no natural and supernatural. Everything to him is natural. And that should be your reality.
These days, it’s practically correct to be hopeless.
Just imagine Jesus discussing with a lady going through challenges and telling her, “You’re finished.”
The bible says even unbelievers; tax collectors, adulterers, thieves loved him and he was their friend. You see, it takes the eyes of hope to see treasures in dirt.
Our perspectives determine our conclusions and our conclusions determine how we live our lives. The way we see determines how we conclude about an issue.
There is no way you can change your conclusions without changing your perspectives. As a matter of fact, your conclusion is a function of your perspective. Your live will never change until your change your perspectives about life.

When you say you believe in something without practicing it, it means you don’t actually believe in it because beliefs motivate behaviour.
So what keeps us from breakthrough is that we’re fully married to hopelessness. Refuse to broadcast hopelessness because facts are subject to change. Refuse to have an area in your life where you hold God hostage.
Truth is, there is an area of your life that isn’t working. But if you hold God hostage because of it, it’s going to affect every other area in your life – including the areas that are working. A lot of persons are holding God hostage because he hasn’t answered their prayers.
Can you stay hopeful for 25 years because God gave you a word?
Have you ever given birth to a child and be worried that the child will not grow? You have been operating in hope for long just that you haven’t extended it into other areas of your life.
May hope become your reality in the name of Jesus!
