Description
About This Message
Rest does not begin with a technique, schedule or escape from responsibility. It begins with a revelation of Jesus.
This message challenges the idea that rest simply means inactivity, sleep or taking a break. Biblical rest is learning to fulfil your God-given responsibility without the inner striving that comes from trying to hold everything together.
Drawing from Acts 27:23–24 and Matthew 11:28–29, Kay Benson-Akhigbe II encourages listeners to trust God as their Shepherd, become comfortable with His pace and depend on His strength and resources.
The message speaks especially to those who are exhausted because they are trying to control outcomes that ultimately belong to God.
